In these promising roles, the successful candidates will support the Curriculum Specialist in the development of home inspection, energy auditing and trade specific curriculum. The ability to work successfully under strict deadlines, effectively prioritize tasks according to production schedules, and multi-task is essential. Candidates with curriculum development and teaching experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will be passionate and energetic self-starters, highly motivated, hard working and have 10 years of individual experience in a specific or number of construction related fields. Responsibilities:
- Course Development: Develop courses on a per course, per course series or per client basis. Course development may include complete life cycle development, including but not limited to:
- Needs or requirements analysis
- Content research and writing
- Subject Matter Expert and guidance
- Course design
- Course development
- Course QA
- Course evaluation
- Work with team of curriculum associates and specialists to develop a comprehensive and consistent academic program
- Provide subject matter expertise as needed for various department efforts
- Stay current on most recent subject area strategies, trends, and initiatives
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade designation accompanied with experience
- Licensed as home inspector preferred (New York) – training can be provided
- One-to-three years teaching experience (preferred but not required)
- One-to-three years technical writing experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office program (mainly Microsoft Word or equivalent)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Works well independently and contributes positively to a driven team*
*Under certain circumstances this position may be available for the employee to work offsite

Instructors

Ideal candidates will be passionate and energetic self-starters, highly motivated, hard working and have at least 10 years of individual experience in any combination of specific or construction related fields. - Instruct on a per course, per course series or per client basis. Course instruction may include some traveling but is usually limited to a requested area when possible. Other tasks may include (on a per person basis):
- Content research and writing
- Subject Matter Expert communication and guidance
- Course design
- Course development

- Course evaluation

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade designation accompanied with experience
- Licensed or Certified in respective field of instruction (if applicable)
- One-to-three years teaching experience (preferred but not required). (Note: A required instructor training class may be required if necessary)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (mainly Microsoft Word or equivalent)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Works well independently and contributes positively to a driven team*
